2 disciplines, one method

Functional medicine explains why a condition has developed in a particular person: the antecedents, triggers and mediators on their timeline, and the systems in the matrix that are driving their presentation. Clinical nutrition provides many of the most powerful ways to act on that understanding, through diet, nutrient status and lifestyle.

The program teaches both together, module by module, so practitioners move from reactive treatment of symptoms towards proactive, individualised care, working alongside conventional diagnosis and treatment.

Who it is for

Doctors and physicians

Medical doctors, and practitioners of traditional systems of medicine who hold a recognised licence, including students, who want a systems framework and therapeutic nutrition skills.

Nutritionists and dietitians

Nutrition and dietetics graduates and students at bachelor's, master's or doctoral level who want to practise clinically oriented functional nutrition.

Health coaches

Coaches who want to understand the physiology behind behaviour change and work confidently with clinical teams.

Admissions confirm eligibility for each applicant based on their qualification and professional licence.

Key learning outcomes

Think in systems

Build a functional timeline for each patient and use the matrix to identify underlying drivers.

Read biomarkers in context

Assess insulin resistance beyond a single fasting value, and lipids beyond good and bad cholesterol.

Use therapeutic nutrition

Apply the cardiometabolic and elimination diets, identify micronutrient deficiencies and use supplement and nutrition protocols.

Work across systems

Approach blood sugar, cardiovascular, thyroid, gut, immune, adrenal and hormonal presentations with a clear method.

Coach for change

Guide patients through recovery with coaching, stress management and lifestyle techniques.

Grow your practice

Position your practice, find your niche and ideal client, and build authority.

In practitioners' words

This Functional Medicine course dives deeper into biomarkers, methylation defects, detoxification, and other details that often get overlooked in current conventional healthcare model.

Dr. Anita MehraniMBBS, Diploma in Cosmetology, ACE certified Nutrition

It feels good to treat the root cause instead of just bouncing patients from one prescription to another.

Dr. Rahul BadeMBBS, MD, Dermatologist

The functional nutrition course was extremely beneficial, it came from people who were very well versed with deep subject and practical knowledge.
